About The MaudLokko Breast Cancer Foundation The MaudLokko Breast Cancer Foundation is a benevolent Nongovernmental Organization (NGO) established in May 2019. The foundation’s primary aim is to support individuals and families living directly with, or who are affected negatively by the cascading effects of breast cancer on their health and quality of life.
The supports range from education on breast cancer, prevention, screening and management; creation and management of support systems such as groups for survivors and their families; instrumental supports such as affordable medications and prosthetics; and the facilitation of pain management and psychotherapy interventions. Although breast cancer is most common in women over 40, it can affect anyone at any age. At MaudLokko Breast Cancer foundation, we know that the fight against breast cancer is never easy, taking a toll on family, friends, and loved ones.
